As mothers, we carry a deep desire to do our best—for our children, our families, and our homes. But in the quiet places of our hearts, we sometimes question why we’re striving. Are we trying to earn God’s approval? Trying to prove something to ourselves or others? The truth is, we don’t mother out of a need to gain God’s favor. We already have it—fully and freely—because of what Christ has done for us. The cross is our reminder that we are loved, chosen, and accepted, not because we’re perfect, but because He is.
